So, to sort of make up for being gone for so long, here's a treat for all of you!
Over at blog48, a community on Livejournal where a group of us are translating ***48 member's blog entries, I've decided to take charge of translating Nonti's blog, as well as Sayanee's blog. Kazue's and CinDy's blogs are being translated as well, so you should head over and check it out!
Here are the tags to help you find their entries more easily:
Kazue's blog
CinDy's blog
Sayanee's blog
Nonti's blog
Hope you enjoy! If you're interested in helping out for other members, the help is definitely appreciated! Check out this thread on S48 and post if you want to help translate! Don't forget to mention which member(s) you want to translate for, though. XD

IT LIIIIIIIIIIIIVES
It's been about 3 months, but how are you all?
Now that I'm finally finished with school, I'm going to be re-opening Ganbariina!
Miss me? XD
Anyway, a quick rundown of what's happened in the past 3 months (in no real order):
1) SDN48 3rd generation auditions!
- The deadline for this closed on the 19th, so hopefully we'll find out who our new members are soon! There had been a rumor going around that former AKB48 1st generation member Tojima Hana would be auditioning, but keep in mind that it's just a rumor. Of course, if she did get in I'd die because she was my very first oshimen but anyway. XDDD
2) SDN48's 2nd single "Ai, Chuseyo"!
- The title is a mix of Japanese and Korean, which comes out as "Please Give Me Love". It was set to be released on March 23rd (actually that's today in Japan), but it was pushed back following the massive earthquake/tsunami that happened on March 11th. We're not sure when it will be released now. However, it's been released on (Japanese) iTunes
- However, in the meanwhile, the PVs for the title track, "Ai, Chuseyo" and the Undergirls A track, "Tengoku no Door wa Sankaime no Bell de Aku" ("The Door to Heaven Will Open On The Third Ring") have come out. Yet to be seen are the Undergirls B track, "Awajishima no Tamanegi" ("The Awaji Island Onion"), and Rachel's (Nishikunihara Reiko) solo, "Ai yo, Ugokanai de" ("Love, Please Don't Move")
3) SDN48 1st Generation member Ito Kana graduated due to poor health following a bout with the flu. Hopefully one day we'll be able to see her (along with Fukuyama Sakura) again. We'll miss you, Kananyan!
4) There have also been whisperings of an announcement set for today (the 23rd), but with the 2nd single being pushed back, who knows what the announcement will be, or when we'll actually hear it. Personally, I've got my fingers crossed for a release of the 1st stage DVD/CD. Them removing the age restriction so that we can get LODs would be good too... Well, let's wait and see, shall we?

Announcement
First, I hope that everyone is enjoying the holidays.
Unfortunately, I've got bad news: I'm shutting down "Ganbariina!".
I don't think it wound up being very useful since most of the info I reported had already come out in other places. Additionally, I just didn't have time to do what I had really wanted to do with the site, which was show summaries, or introducing the members (specifically the lesser known ones) so that people could get to know SDN better. For that, I have to apologize.
I hope that all of you will continue to support SDN as they continue to work hard at chasing their dreams.

PS: I won't be deleting the blog, so you can still come to review old posts, etc. It's possible that, in the future, if I have time I'll be able to continue, but I honestly have no idea.
皆さん、
今年の最後を楽しんでいただけていますでしょうか。
残念ながら、ここでお知らせがあります。「Ganbariina!」

Nonti and Meetan on Akimoto Sayaka and Miyazawa Sae's Ukkari Channel (AKB48)
If any of you also check out SaeYaka Paradise (it's in my blog roll to the side :D), you've seen this already, but as a courtesy, I'll post this here, as well.
On the 18th and 25th of November, Nonti and Meetan were guests on the weekly radio show "Ukkari Channel", hosted by AKB48 Team K's Akimoto Sayaka and Miyazawa Sae. Neither Nonti or Meetan are strangers, since they all used to be on Team K before the shuffle and permanent transfer to SDN48. So, they get kind of noisy and crazy at times (OK, that might be an understatement).
If you haven't already, read the summaries at SaeYaka Paradise (thanks Ange! :3)
Episode 7 (Episode 1/2 of Nonti/Meetan guest appearance)
Episode 8 (Episode 2/2 of Nonti/Meetan guest appearance)

Ganbariina!: New portable size! :D
Ever been trying to read the blog on a mobile device, like an iPod touch (or whatever) and found yourself squinting, zooming in and out, etc? Well NO MORE! :D The good people at Blogger introduced a mobile template, which I've enabled. You apparently have the option to switch out of it, should you choose, but hopefully this will make browsing the blog easier.
Stay tuned for one more update today, and until then, keep GAGAGA-ing! :D

GAGAGA Oricon update (weeks 1, 2, and 3)
I know, I'm really late on this. ,____, I got really busy right around the time GAGAGA was released and I just couldn't seem to find time to update.
Anyway, most of you probably know, but it managed to come in 3rd on the weekly chart, selling 63,627 copies. Since then it's hit 23rd and 37th on the weekly chart(s), and has sold 71,714 copies total. Not too shabby, eh? :D

A poll!
With a week having passed since GAGAGA was released, I thought this might be fun. :D What's your favorite song from the GAGAGA single? Is it the elbow-y "GAGAGA"? The earnest "Kodoku na Runner"? The spy chic "Eros no Trigger"? Or, is it the stocking ripping "Sado he Wataru"? Let me know in the poll that you can find in the sidebar! The poll will be open for one week, ending at 2:00 PM (PST) on Tuesday/7:00 AM on Wednesday (JST).
I'll try to come up with more polls in the future if you all like this. :D
